Adrienne set new 3kpersonal best 8.53.80!! and qualifies for Word Championships
Today in a sold out NIA indoor arena in Birmingham, Adrienne broke her outdoor personal best with almost 10 seconds. Also she ran 10 seconds below the qualifying mark for the World indoor Champs in Doha. Adrienne took part in the 2 mile event where they took official split times in 3000 meter. All European athletes went all out until 3km, Adrienne crossed the 3k mark in 5the place, 2th European.
`8.53.80 well, that’s a cool time!! It took me some time to be really happy with it because I think I made a really big mistake in the race but not going with the front pack. I blame myself for that! I now ran 7 laps alone pacing the group of European athletes. I didn´t go with the African front because I knew the Kenyans announced a world record but they didn’t ran record pace. I now feel happy, a big Pb and this is one of the fastest times in the world. Considering the fact that it´s my first race and I ran with very little specific preparation, I´m sure I can break 8.50 this winter. More to come……………….`
Adrienne will soon give un update about whether she goes to the World Champs or not.

Hoi adrienne wat goed ik ben trots op je wat een kanjer en een mooi fimpje er weer bij het gaat je goed en gauw weer bij de familie liefs van je tante uit Den Haag (sandra).

I found your webpage. How nice, how good looking! I saw your race yesterday and you did great. i think there is so much more inside because i did a lot of the dirty work. your style is great and your a inspired me so much. Cheers and good luck, you are going to get medals...
