After a really tough and rough heat on Friday Adrienne qualified for a place in the World championship final on Saturday. To make the final she needed a pb time of 8.53.24 in a race with lots of tempo changes and pushing and pulling by the big field on the small 200 meter lap. Adrienne was very happy to succeed in making the final. Very unusual the final was held directly the next day. Adrienne tried to recover the best way to race a good and competitive race in the final. Unfortunately the effort from the day before was still in her legs. She finished 12th place.
