Adrienne back with a good result in the Vienna woman 5km
After a long period without races Adrienne decided last minute to take the line in the Woman's 5km in Vienna.
On a very warm day in the Vienna city park she finished a strong 5th place. Adrienne went into the race ranked 5th place on paper and
she was happy that she felt competitive and strong after such a long time without racing. Ana Dulce Felix showed that she is in amazing shape but place 3 Sabrina Mochenhaupt
and place 4 fElena Romagnolo and Adrienne her self all crossed the line very close to each other. It also showed Adrienne that the
new training system is paying off.
"I'm very happy I decided to go to Vienna and race, it was an amazing event with 25.000 woman taking part and the race organization was amazing. it feels like a good start of a new fresh season. It was a very hot day (30C) but i
had a pretty strong feeling, some of the elite athletes who raced with a Garmin measured a 5,1km so that means the time doesn't say me to much but the strong result and feelings does give me confidence.
I still miss the specific racing fitness and I didn't hold back for the race so it's time to sharpen up over the next
weeks to be able to set some track pb's. Most off all I did enjoy to be back there and race with some very strong european girl."
